Tembaletu is derived from the isiZulu word “ithembalethu”, which, when translated into English, means “our hope”

Our Vision

A society which is literate and prosperous, and one in which its citizens actively participate in all spheres, of social and economic life.

Our Mission

To offer and/or facilitates access to basic and further education and training for adults and youth in KwaZulu-Natal so that they can participate and contribute to the development of their communities.

The Tembaletu Trust is a registered NPO (not-for-profit) Trust. (PBO NO.18/11/13/3601.
